Interview with Waldron Leard
Waldron Leard was born and raised in Souris. He has been employed in a wide variety of positions since his graduation from Souris Regional High School. Interested in the environment and conservation since a small child, Mr. Leard has served as photographer, videographer and webmaster for the Souris & Area Branch of the P.E.I. Wildlife Federation since the fall of 2006. In 2007 Waldron was awarded a P.E.I. Environmental Award and in 2009 the Souris & Area Branch Conservationist of the Year. He has coordinated the Branch's photo contest since 2007. Here he describes the event and some of the successes.
