The First Annual Digital Photo Clinic was held on Saturday May 24, 2008 at the Souris Ski Lodge, situated on the Souris Line Road. Waldron Leard, a member of the Souris Branch of the P.E.I. Wildlife Federation and a local photographer conducted a relaxing one-day clinic. The enthusiastic attendees from P.E.I. and Wisconsin reviewed the history of photography, leading up to present day's digital age. Various techniques were reviewed and a spirited discussion was held regarding regarding the rapid technological changes in this rapidly expanding hobby. Despite the weather conditions, the participants enjoyed time with their cameras in part of the watershed surrounding the head of the east branch of the Souris River. The Souris Branch of the P.E.I. Wildlife Federation is looking forward to hosting a similar event in 2009!
