Our Local Ecology

Our local ecology is varied.
Click on the links to your left to view the local flora and fauna.
Photos will be continually added to the sets.

Occasionally we have special guests who drop in on the area.

You may view the photos (right) of the American White Pelican
that dropped into Black Pond for a week, in May 2006

Conserve, Preserve & Protect for the generations to come . . . .

SignEastern Kings has a fragile eco-system.

There are many areas that are recognized and
are designated Natural Areas. Man's footprints
can do irreperable damage to these locations.
Wandering people, uncontrolled pets and garbage
create issues that over time will damage habitat.
The dunes structure is especially fragile.
Enjoy our Natural areas from the Lanes &
Paths. Make memories - leave your eyeprints,
instead of your footprints behind.
