The Island Nature Trust is a non-government, not-for-profit organization dedicated to protection and management of Natural Areas on Prince Edward Island. The areas, in our region, they are working to protect include: the South Lake, Basin Head and Black Pond dune systems, the Townshend Woodlot Woodlands, the Naufrage River Riparian Zone and the Baltic Bog. Ducks Unlimited is active in every province and territory in Canada. From coast to coast, the organization has been on the front lines of conservation for more than 65 years, positively influencing nearly 25 million acres of habitat across the country.
