ticket to the 29th. Annual Wildlife Dinner.

The Souris & Area Branch of the PEI Wildlife Federation will hold its 29th Annual Wildlife Fundraising Dinner on Sunday, December 13.

The dinner will take place at St. Mary’s Hall with hors d'oeuvres at 4pm and dinner to follow at 5pm.

The main course will feature roast buffalo and baked Atlantic Salmon with all the trimmings. Once again a special mystery dish may be sampled for those with the exploratory taste buds. The hors d'oeuvres will include many species of smoked fish on crackers, steaming mussels, oysters, etc.

There will be many door prizes, raffle items and auction items available for all attendees.

Steve Cheverie, branch president said, "This dinner is traditionally a terrific meal and a fun-filled night with all the proceeds going towards a fantastic cause."

The winners of the 2009 Wildlife Photo contest will be presented their awards at this function. Over 2,000 people have entered the contest this year. A slide show will be displayed prior to the meal illustrating the quality of photos submitted and the beauty of our area by the entrants.

Ticket prices are only $25 and may be purchased at D’Eon Vernon Lobster Plugs, Burke’s Custom Metal Works, Souris Legion, Morell Auto Parts and Going Fishing (Charlottetown). Tickets may also be purchased through ticket coordinator Fred Cheverie at 687-3436 or from any Souris Branch members.
