PEI Watershed Alliance | The Souris & Area Branch of the PEI Wildlife Federation (SAB) is pleased to announce that Fred Cheverie is the new chair of the PEI Watershed Alliance (PEIWSA). The PEIWSA is a not profit cooperative group of watershed management groups on PEI with the primary goal of enhancing and protecting the environmental quality of PEI watersheds. The PEIWSA provides a strong, united voice for addressing watershed issues for the benefit of all Island residents. Fred has been involved with the PEIWSA in various ways. He served as a founding director contributing to much of the initial organization and creation of the group. Upon creation of the group he sat on the Board of Directors until becoming chair of the PEIWSA. As coordinator for the SAB, Fred brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as is evident through the work his watershed management area completes and continues to do. |
