The Island Nature Trust is a non-government,
not-for-profit organization dedicated to
protection and management of Natural Areas
on Prince Edward Island. The areas, in our
region, they are working to protect include:
the South Lake, Basin Head and Black Pond
dune systems, the Townshend Woodlot Woodlands,
the Naufrage River Riparian Zone and the
Baltic Bog.

Ducks Unlimited Canada is a national, private,
non-profit organization committed to
conserving wetlands and their associated habitats
for North America's waterfowl, other wildlife
and people. Ducks Unlimited is active in every province
and territory in Canada. From coast to coast, the
organization has been on the front lines of conservation
for more than 65 years, positively influencing
nearly 25 million acres of habitat across the country.
The projects over the years in our area, may be found
in Bear River, Bothwell, Dingwells Mills, East Lake,
Harmony Junction, Little Pond, North Lake,
Red Point and Selkirk.
