The Island Nature Trust is a non-government,
not-for-profit organization dedicated to
protection and management of Natural Areas
on Prince Edward Island. The areas, in our
region, they are working to protect include:
the South Lake, Basin Head and Black Pond
dune systems, the Townshend Woodlot Woodlands,
the Naufrage River Riparian Zone and the
Baltic Bog.
Little HarbourAn Environmental Issue in Eastern Kings,
is the endangered Piping Plover.
